Why are we called
Glass House?
Glass is beautiful, yet vulnerable. Glass is strong, yet breakable. Glass will let the light shine through.
We chose this name because we want to represent a place where everyone is loved and whole. We value and honor transparency and this is a safe place to be completely you.
When we think of ourselves living in a glass house, throwing stones only hurts ourselves and others. We promote a judgement free zone of unconditional love; just like we receive from our Savior.
Glass is actually not a solid, although not a liquid either. It is a mixture of the two, always moving, slowly. Movement is essential, as God always has something new to show and teach us.
Let Jesus mold and shape your heart, mind and spirit just like the maker of a stunning house of glass.

Here in the Glass House, we strive to be a community that encourages women to get real and lived loved. Getting real means realizing that you were created for a purpose. You are perfectly, imperfectly you, made perfect in Jesus. Be free to be truly you. The world has no other you, we need you!
Living loved means you have nothing to prove. You can be free to love others without expecting anything in return, because all your needs are met in Jesus. We can remember this when we want to be offended, feel like a victim, or experience hopelessness. Living fully loved means casting out those lies and allowing the truth of the love of Jesus invade.
