Praying For Focus Vs. Distraction

Updated: Aug 14, 2021

This world has so much distraction all around us. There is just so much stuff everywhere to keep our attention off our purpose and what our Father is trying to show us. Let's pray against the distraction so we can focus on what our Lord has for us today.

Praying for focus and overcoming distraction.

Lord, I come against distraction.

Spirits of anxiety, depression and "busyness" have no place in my heart or in my mind. What a way to totally miss the cool things you have to show me.

No more, "woe is me", more like "Woah! My God!"

You have greatness for every moment.

What am I focusing on? What am I tapping into?

Let it be You always.

Now, undistracted, I can walk deeper in my purpose:

  • to extend Your culture here on earth

  • to see the way You do

  • to love the way You do

Jesus, I ask You to alter my thoughts to the way You think.

Thank You, Lord, that you freely give this to us. You are always happy to help us align our thoughts to Yours. Keep us open to what You are showing us.

In Jesus' name we pray,

Amen

Scripture To Meditate On:
